Wedding Planning | First things first
When wedding planning the first basic thing that you can do is work out what is important to you.
The biggest decision you will make is what part of the wedding you do not want to compromise on. This will of course depend on your means and who is contributing the wedding finances.
Sit down with your fiancé and think about how you want to remember your own wedding. This will be influenced by your own experiences and other weddings. What did you like? What didn’t you like? How would you like yours to be different?
You want your wedding to remembered for all the right reasons.
As a couple write down a list of your priorities such as these items;
- Photography
- Rings
- Gowns
- Suits
- Ceremony Location
- Reception Venue
- Food/Drink Package
- Styling.
Once you have this list it you can start through the long list of things to arrange with these priorities in mind. It may in fact change the style of wedding you choose, the day of the wedding or the location etc.
What ever your choices you want to make sure you are getting the best quality that you can afford. Avoid cutting costs by using inexperienced or unqualified vendors. They can become more costly than you had hoped if something goes awry.
The best way to think about any vendors is that there will always be somewhere or someone who will be cheaper. There will be always somewhere or someone who will be more expensive. The most import thing to remember is your vendors need to be the best fit for you. This is especially true when it comes to choosing your Brisbane wedding photographer.
