Obviously I bring the Oakman to Oakman Photography. With a life long passion for photography it was a clear decision to create a business where I could live the dream of doing what I loved. I grew up in Tasmania until moving to Brisbane in 1991 where it is now very much home. I really enjoy the technical side to photography as well as the creative side.

The greatest reward I take from my photography is getting to know my clients and really discover the essence of who they are. I enjoy every part of a wedding for this reason, especially receptions. People show so much love and joy for the married couple, it’s just so fantastic to witness.

I am truly grateful to capture the connection between people and believe its a great honour to do so.
