Emma & James | Love at Cowbell Creek
Emma and James, were married on a glorious May Sunday afternoon at the Cowbell Creek wedding venue. Located in Austinville , just 30 minutes easy drive from the heart of the Gold Coast. Their day started with close friends and family getting ready at the impressive Q1. Unobstructed views of the ocean and a bright Autumn day created fantastic lit rooms to get ready in. It was a quick limo ride for Emma to meet James waiting under the ceremony pergola. I would be lying if I said the sight of Emma in her Grace Loves Lace gown didn’t bring a wave of emotion over James. She walked down the isle after her attendants with a smile that could brighten any room. Working again with celebrant Clarah Luxford the I knew the guests would enjoy a seamless, touching ceremony. There were many laughs and heartfelt moments which lead to the final kiss to tie the knot. The thoughtful staff at Cowbell Creek taxied us around the property at the foot of Mt Nimmel. There were so many photography opportunities on the property. I only wish there was more time to utilise some hidden gems. Emma & James, were so relaxed and an absolute delight to photograph. Chasing the last light of the day we found some cows to pat, as you do! Then it was off to the Cowbell Creek wedding barn for the reception. DJ Brad entertained the guests with great music and some games to get the party stared. The night rolled on with some short speeches and all the formalities followed. A truly enjoyable day for all. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them. #MrandMrsC2k18
How they met in their own words
We first met believe it or not, on the ever popular tinder. It was love at first swipe. Emma first noticed not James but his dog Diesel. After days of talking back and forth Emma was so insistent on going on a date with James that she agreed to go to a car meet a couple of days before our original date was planned. James saw Emma and instantly thought he had hit the jackpot she was so beautiful. Emma first saw James and knew she was going out with a tall guy but she didn’t expect a giant. The first date went off without a hitch, James drove ever so careful through the mountains chasing fellow drivers down the hill whilst Emma sat in fear. “We both agreed that from that day on we knew we would be together forever. “
